Something Protect takes the form of a window sticker designed to prevent birds from colliding with glass, enlarges it, transfers it onto transparent film, and installs it on a window in the exhibition space. Freed from its original scale, the familiar form loses its practical function and becomes an image that merges with the landscape beyond the glass. Combined with drawings developed through my existing drawing practice, the work explores the process through which a functional form detaches from its original context and transforms into something entirely different. At the same time, it considers the possibility of drawing extending beyond the page into space and unfolding as an installation.

Something Protect 는 새와 유리창의 충돌을 막기 위해 고안된 창문 스티커의 형태를 가져와, 이를 확대하여 투명 필름에 옮기고 전시 공간의 창에 설치한 작업이다. 원래의 스케일에서 벗어나면서 익숙한 형태는 실용적인 기능을 잃고 하나의 이미지가 되어, 창 너머의 풍경과 겹쳐진다. 기존의 드로잉 방식으로 제작된 드로잉들과 결합하여, 이 작업은 기능적인 형태가 본래의 맥락에서 벗어나 전혀 다른 것으로 전환되는 과정을 탐구한다. 동시에 드로잉이 지면을 넘어 공간으로 확장되어 하나의 설치로 발전할 수 있는 가능성을 다룬다.
