Handthink is a work in which the artist explores the flow of thoughts and the nature of emotions. This work is created without a specific theme or narrative, relying on the spontaneous movements of the hand to capture the emotions and thoughts that arise in the moment. The artist draws without planning, allowing the hand to lead the way and through the naturally formed lines and shapes she reflects on how thoughts are formed. 

Handthink is a non-verbal and improvisational creation that embodies the emotions and concerns of the artist at the time. On revisiting the work, it became clear that this was not just an unplanned drawing, but a significant record of the emotions and thoughts of the time. This work demonstrates how free, spontaneous creation can lead to an exploration of the inner self.

Handthink 는 사고의 흐름과 감정의 본질을 탐색하는 작업이다. 특정한 주제나 서사 없이 순간적으로 떠오르는 감정과 생각을 손의 자발적인 움직임에 따라 그려내며, 계획 없이 그려지는 선과 형태를 통해 생각이 어떻게 형성되는지를 직관적으로 들여다본다.

말이 아닌 몸의 즉흥적인 움직임으로 이루어진 이 작업은 당시의 감정과 고민을 고스란히 담고 있다. 시간이 지나 다시 바라보았을 때, 단순한 즉흥적 드로잉이 아니라 그 시기의 내면을 기록한 중요한 흔적임이 분명해진다. 자유롭고 자발적인 창작이 내면의 탐색으로 이어질 수 있음을 보여주는 작업이다.
